Mini-Reading Tutorial with Taylor Benjamin Burgess

In preparation for International Astrology Day, this free lecture is about how to read an astrology chart quickly and succinctly. Learn about the roles the planets play in a chart, how they exist within an astrological sign, and what the houses represent. We will also be learning about the chart ruler, and how to identify important upcoming transits. This workshop is designed to ready astrologers for short readings on International Astrology Day, but it is also a good primer for entry-level astrologers. There will be time to practice reading charts for one another.

This will be a hybrid event, taking place in person at the Tranzac Club and online via Zoom Meetings.

Taylor Benjamin Burgess has studied the occult for over a dozen years, but he has been intensely studying astrology for the last seven. He also has keen interests in philosophy, psychogeography, and (especially) music

He has previously worked as an arts & culture writer and editor, and he continues to make music and to DJ. He has been taking his weirdly encyclopedic knowledge of album release dates and applying it to planetary conjunctions and ingresses.

He has been a part of the Astrology Toronto community for the past few years and serves on its board as the vice president.
