The sphere of astrological houses is one of the most intriguing in this science. Each astrological house is a door to a special dimension that breathes and actively functions in our life. Unfortunately, we often resort to only a couple of keywords when describing the effect produced by a planet in the house. Some houses are traditionally so underrated, that we often attempt to exclude them from the interpretation for being “non-dramatic” and “mundane”. Ironically, they are often the ones that are the most important for the soul development! In Vedic Astrology, houses in the chart represent “the path” which one needs to follow in order to reach their destiny. Houses show how we can achieve 4 ultimate goals in human life - Dharma (Our True Self), Artha (Prosperity), Kama (Joy) and Moksha (Liberation), while mastering personal, relational and social realms. In this workshop, we will learn about a unique role that each house plays in making us “wholesome”, and how they interconnect in real life experiences. We will learn which houses are always guiding us on the right path, and which ones sometimes can serve as a “diversion”. But most importantly, we will learn the ways of using astrological houses to improve our wisdom and quality of being.

I started studying astrology back in 1990th in Ukraine, from books and magazines and astrologers of Western School, such as Alexey Steklov, Avessalom Podvodny, Igor Kvasha, Pavel Globa and others. In Canada, I completed 5 levels of RASA (Robert Armstrong School of Astrology), and later switched my interest to Vedic tradition, after attending a course “Ayurveda and Vedic Astrology”, presented by a brilliant astrologer and teacher Sam Geppi. I was immediately enthralled by Vedic system, where astrology is interconnected with Ayurveda, Yoga and other Vedic sciences. I am still amazed by the mere vastness of this dimension of knowledge, which was given to the world by enlightened rishis, and preserved by devotees through thousands of years. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Vedic Astrology degree from American Academy of Vedic Art and Science. In my astrology practice, I am very interested in observing how people deal with the challenges thrown to them by the Universe and the Karma Lords. How the special gifts that were given to them and the efforts in cultivating awareness has helped them on their life journey. In Western World, Vedic Astrology is very much misunderstood, having a reputation of being overly fatalistic, mundane and cryptic. I feel that it is my mission to share a unique vision that Vedic Astrology brings to our modern world.
